Rekomendacijos dėl skiepų: primenama, kokio amžiaus vaikai kokiais skiepais skiepijami nemokamai
Prasidėjus naujiems mokslo metams Užkrečiamųjų ligų ir AIDS centro (ULAC) medikai primena apie skiepus mokyklinio amžiaus vaikams bei kokio amžiaus vaikai skiepijami kokiais skiepais.
Pagal vaikų profilaktinių skiepijimų kalendorių 6 - 7 metų vaikai nemokamai skiepijami nuo kokliušo, difterijos, stabligės, poliomielito, raudonukės, epideminio parotito ir tymų; 11 metų mergaitės skiepijamos nuo žmogaus papilomos viruso sukeltos infekcijos; 15 - 16 m. paaugliams rekomenduojama atnaujinti skiepus nuo difterijos, stabligės ir kokliušo.
Kaip ir kasmet, artėjant šaltajam sezonui tikėtinas peršalimo ligų ir gripo sergamumo padidėjimas, todėl rekomenduojama vaikus, ypač sergančius lėtinėmis ligomis, paskiepyti nuo gripo.
Viena iš dažnesnių gripo komplikacijų yra pneumokokinės infekcijos sukelti ausų, sinusų, gerklės, plaučių ar net smegenų ir širdies uždegimai, todėl rekomenduojama pasiskiepyti nuo pneumokokinės infekcijos. Rizikos grupių vaikams pneumokokinės infekcijos skiepai kompensuojami valstybės. Sužinoti, ar vaikas priklauso pneumokokinės infekcijos rizikos grupei galima šioje nuorodoje.
Darželinukus ir mokinukus taip pat rekomenduojama paskiepyti nuo vėjaraupių. Ši vakcina nėra kompensuojama pagal vaikų profilaktinių skiepijimų kalendorių, todėl tėvai ar globėjai už skiepus turi mokėti savo lėšomis.
Dėl visų skiepų vaikams reikia kreiptis į savo šeimos gydytoją.
Užkrečiamųjų ligų ir AIDS centro specialistų teigimu, vaikų kolektyvuose didesnė rizika užsikrėsti oro lašeliniu keliu plintančiomis infekcijomis. Taip pat dėl nepakankamai susiformavusių higienos įgūdžių vaikai dažniau nei suaugę užsikrečia infekcinėmis ligomis per nešvarias rankas ir daiktus.
